Wikipedia Batesiella Batesiella is a spider genus in the family Theraphosidae (tarantulas), with the sole species Batesiella crinita. It is native to Cameroon. The genus was named by Reginald Innes Pocock in 1903, and honours the collector, G. L. Bates.
