Batelov is a small town ( městys) in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The town covers an area of , and has a population of 2,335 (as at 1 January 2008).
Batelov lies on the Jihlava River, approximately south-west of Jihlava and south-east of Prague.
