' Avature' is a privately held Human Capital Management software company which sells software as a service.
It was founded in 2005 by Dimitri Boylan, co-founder and former CEO of HotJobs. In September 2008 the company commercially released its flagship product, Avature CRM, a flexible enterprise platform for Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Management. Avature has made bimonthly online releases of its CRM since then, and has employed a Web 2.0 social approach to recruiting.
In October 2008, the Human Resource Executive Magazine pointed Avature CRM as a Top HR Product and in 2010 it was identified by Gartner as 'Cool Vendor´ for its innovations in Human Capital Management. The company has been recently recognized by HRO Today with the 2012 TekTonic Award for Talent Management.
Avature has offices in Charlotte (CA, USA), Portland (OR, USA), London (UK), Munich (Germany), Melbourne (Australia), Hong Kong (China), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Madrid (Spain). It has over 380 customers, of which 64 are Fortune 500 and 5 of the top 10 Fortune 500.
