Anina (; German: Steierdorf; Hungarian: Stájerlakanina) is a town in southwestern Romania, in Caraş-Severin County, with a population of 10,886 in 2000. The town administers one village, Steierdorf (German: Steierdorf, Hungarian: Stájerlak).

Anina, also known by the pseudonym Anina.net, is an American-born international fashion model, blogger, and fashion technology and wearables event producer.

She has a following in China. China Central Television awarded her "China's top foreign model" in 2009. She also has her own line of Anime-inspired clothes, "aninaMINEme".

She is CEO and founder of 360Fashion Network, a network of fashion professionals using the web 2.0 and mobile technologies.

Anina.net produces large fashion technology events in Asia such as the 360Fashion&Tech Expo (in its 4th year) together with the China National Garment Association CHIC show, which has over 125,000 people in attendance and the first high tech runway fashion show in China at the Mobile World Congress, Shanghai. She produced the IBM 360Fashion & Tech Innovation Awards in the United States in November 2015, though her first exhibition was in 2004, called "a new kind of supermodel" at Molière's house in Paris under the art posthume movement Anina was the first model blogger, starting in 2004. In 2005 her modeling agency gave her an ultimatum to stop blogging. She refused to quit, and so was forced to join another agency

Anina.net brings designers and technologists together to create one-of-a-kind designs for exhibition such as the Robotic Dress, laser dresses, LED bags and gloves, solar powered bags, 3D printed prosthetics, redesign of robots and mobile apps.

Anina (singer)

Anina (born 25 February 1985 Anine Victoria Stang) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter.

In 2007 Anina received her music degree from the prestigious songwriters academy Musikmakarna in Sweden. The same year she moved to Los Angeles, where she got a band together and wrote songs with several acclaimed musicians. She played sold-out concerts, in among others, the world-famous rock club " The Viper Room". In 2008 she got second place in a "battle of the bands" contest under the direction of LA Music Network and rock radio station FM 98.7. The judges stated that she had the best song out of all the contestants.

In 2008/2009 Anina was mentioned in the US based magazine Music Connection's "Hot 100 unsigned artists" list.

After three years in Los Angeles, Anina goes back to her roots in Norway in 2010, getting a deal with Universal Music. Her first music video remained on the top 10 list on MTV for several weeks, and it even impressed the world-famous celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton.

The video for her single "Dominoes" was nominated for "Best Music Video" at UK Film Festival, and it won two prices: "Award of Excellence" and "Best Cinematography" at Los Angeles Movie Awards in January 2012.

Bill Siddons, ex-manager of The Doors, was Anina's mentor during the three years in L.A. She has worked closely with musicians who have also worked with artists such as Marilyn Manson, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Guns N' Roses, Slipknot, Debbie Harry and Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Before Christmas 2010, she released the single "Christmas Card" in benefit of the Red Cross programme for children in need.

In 2011 she was handpicked by the Billboard hit making production team Stargate, to attend their masterclass in New York. While in New York she played at Splash, New York's biggest gay club. This is the club where Lady Gaga started her career, and Madonna has played several times. The club wanted her back, and in the summer of 2011 she went on her first US tour.

Anina has chosen to go the long and hard school of the music industry to find her own unique style as an artist and songwriter. She is a "do it yourself" driven artist, involved in all parts of her career. In Norway she has gone by her given name, Anine Stang, but on her new album she returning to her original artist name Anina.

She currently resides in Los Angeles, California, working on new material, and she started her own record label, Electric Stardust.

"Expect catchy pop songs, with an industrial edge, and deeper lyrics", Anina says about the new material.

She released her first song "Brain Break" on her new label, and under the name Anina, in August 2012. The famous UK based Scandinavian music blog "Scandipop.co.uk" called it "[s]odding mental. But it's the kind of sodding mental that lends itself well to also being sodding brilliant".

The video for "Brain Break" also received favourable reviews.

Anina is a 2013 Uruguayan-Colombian animated film directed by Alfredo Soderguit. The film was selected as the Uruguayan entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
